I was listening to Smile.Dk's "Future Girls" and I couldn't get this out of my head. So here it is, with my new Prismacolor markers.

This is really fantastic! I love the way you've done all the small details, and how you've made sure the plugs have proper places to fit into A.I.A. The shading with the orange and blue on the white is really striking, as it gives her an inhuman, glowing feel. The motion of the android and the curves of the cables give the piece a good sense of balance and movement.

It's a little creepy, very surreal - I like it!!

:w00t: I'm glad you like it! I was really excited about getting my new Prismacolor Markers. And I'm really pleased with how this peice turned out. Unlike 'The "Shojo Manga Concept"' my printer actually did this one right.

Markers are awesome. I use Copic, but I know the feeling. When I first got them I HAD to draw a picture and color it with them! Of course, now I look back at the picture I did and laugh at myself, but, it was fun at the time ^^;

Don't you hate those disagreeable printers? My scanner's really into over-saturating images and tinting them red. Thank god for Photoshop!

Oh, I WISH I had photoshop. I really have to get it soon, because my pictures are suffering so much. Then I can rescan a couple, and people will see the brilliance!

How would you rate Copic against Prismacolor? In your opinion.

Aah, I've yet to use Prismacolors for myself...but I saw a project done by a boy in my class who is used to working with Prismacolors, and put up against my Copic piece, I noticed that the consistency was smoother with the Copic marker than the Prismacolors. But, I've heard the Prismas are pretty good, and they are much less expensive, so I wouldn't worry too much :)

O-o /Less/ expensive than Copic? Holey cheese ... That scares me, right there. I'd need to get a JOB to get Copic, then!
